Honestly, yes, assembling a team out of the top six pokemon I love the most from all canon pokemon is the only interest I’ve ever had in the main games. New species are swapped into those top six every time a new generation comes out, so it is entirely possible my new ideal team will be something I can get in sword and shield, but if not....yep, won’t even want to buy them. I guess it’s actually a hyperfocus for me. I see the games as virtual tools to assemble that new “personal team” every time its options have expanded, and don’t care all that much about the in-game battles, story or world or any of that other stuff. I could just play fan made battle simulators, but that doesn’t feel the same! I like knowing my team is “real” and “official,” seeing their full animations and working a little hard to assemble and customize them.

she does become part of the gang!! she mainly does background work, and specializes with light shows and the such! she doesn’t do much singing, but her and pearl occasionally put out small rap albums! (which they only sell so many so they end up costing a lot!!) oth isn’t technically a trio in the case they all sing, but is in the way that porl does work with the band! she’s largely different in the way of how they kind act!! pearl can be rough and rowdy! she commands the spotlight with her voice and actions, and kinda bathes in the glory of it! but she needs her time to relax so she can bounce back at full force! porl is generally softer than pearl is in that regard, she loves the spotlight but doesn’t fight tooth and nail like pearl does for it! porl much prefers one on one, and that’s generally how she handled news casting at first, pretending it was just her and marina!in the au, marina, porl and pearl are dating at the end! porl is kinda on edge when it comes to marie and callie at first, just due to the whole big fight!! but they eventually work it out, well more or less, porl and marie don’t necessarily get along!! just due to how different they are, it’s largely the same with pearl and marie but they have somethings in common!! porl and marie?? not really!porl and callie get along well tho! they more or less bonded over mutual hatred for a certain scarred octopus and found they have some things in common!! such as being gremlins, but they share a love for fashion and new trends!i haven’t mentioned!! sub here!! but porl and them are on good terms even if porl doesn’t know how to talk to marie!! they often spar in a friendly manner! and even do league together sometimes!
