The keychain is .04 brass, made with a PnP Blue and sharpie resist, an etching bath, and Jax brown-black patina. It's definitely an adventure getting back into small metals.
SPRAY PAINT PATINA Holy shit. ok so I’ve been trying to figure out how to put a patina on pewter for a while now, I mean, you know, without spending a bazillion dollars
I don’t know why I didn’t think of it This looks like its got a patina on it, right? Well guess what. It’s just Spray paint. I Spray painted it then went at it with steel wool. !!!!!!! It’s perfect, just what I wanted. And since it’s Spray paint, it’ll last at least as long as a patina, if not longer since I used a durable outdoor kind. SPRAY PAINT. so easy. I’m just. Why did I not think of this before.
