what do yβall like in a doctorβs outfit(s)/costume?
#classic who#doctor who#spinteresting#i'm thinkin about it#i get the criticism of the fifth doctor's (and the fourth's last outift that's that red one from the beginning of the jnt era)#& onward being too 'costumey'#but i do like them anyway#i think looking back at them i can enjoy them from a modern perspective#but i might feel more negatively toward them if i had been watching dw at the time that they had aired gslkdfj#but from right now i like em fine :)#i think 3's outfits are a good balance of costume/eccentric and just clothes#like he wears the same thing but he does have it in different colors lol#at least after the first season#and also he gets points for that scene where he's in the white t shirt#π€€#but i also appreciate four's clothes obvs#i mean obvs 4 is great for a lot of reasons#but he also does have maybe the best balance of costume + personal style#but i like 3's bc i feel like he sticks out more than 4 lol#like in the sense that he's running around being an action hero in a velvet smoking jacket and a cape#i wish that 9 had a tiny bit more variety to his outfits#just a teensy bit#he mostly just has different color plain shirts right?#i get why they went with it but i wish there was just a teensy bit more whimsy#but also i love 9#sm!!!!!
