 sarinya  tried  to  focus  on  the  book  she'd  taken  from  the  library  ,  hoping  to  keep  her  occupied  but  could  not  get  past  the  page  .  her  eyes  moved  over  the  same  line  more  times  than  she  cared  to  admit  ,  each  attempt  at  concentration  dissolving  almost  as  soon  as  it  began  .  with  a  quiet  exhale  ,  she  shifted  slightly  in  her  seat  ,  adjusting  the  book  in  her  hands  as  if  the  fault  lay  in  the  book's  position  rather  than  her  wandering  thoughts  .  “  this  silence  is  intolerable  ,  ”  raven-haired  lady  closed  her  book  with  a  loud  snap  ,  letting  out  a  dramatic  exhale  ,  casting  an  impatient  glance  at  wendy  .  “  are  we  not  to  discuss  what  transpired  at  the  garden  party  ?  "  leaning  forward  slightly,  interest  sharpening  her  tone  .  “  you  know  i  refuse  to  sit  in  silence  let  alone  pretend  to  be  interested  in  this  god-forsaken  book  when  there  is  far  more  compelling  material  to  be  discussed  .  ”  sarinya  pressed  ,  a  faint  ,  knowing  smile  forming  .  “  i'm  annoyed  that  i  was  too  far  away  to  see  if  any  of  the  princes  suffered  any  injuries  at  all  .  ”
