Stockholm Slussen.
Stockholm when renovating slussen: this small piece of land located in inner Stockholm and is essentially just a bridge is such an incredibly important piece of the country, it is vital for the entire nation that this building project will be a grand design, sparing no costs! We're talking designers, meticulous planning, best possible material... Our budget for this is currently around 20 billion kronor, but who knows what it will land on in the end. It just has to be done, and fast! It's for the whole country's best. :)
Stockholm on building Norrbotniabanan: so the current transport infrastructure in the entire northern part of the country is abysmal and also intentionally built in a way that doesn't benefit the northern people. It is indeed so bad it's literally falling apart. And yes, we have promised and un-promised to build the railway that is actually good and connects the whole northern region for the past 50 years, but idk... Apparently it's estimated to cost around 20 billion kronor and that just seems so excessive... I mean it's just the north... Doesn't benefit any actual people... :/ anyway here's the most recent update on slussen!
