Slumflower at LFW, SS18 by Alisha McCarthy

Progress and finished things. First one is progress on two of the Christmas gift paintings I’m doing. I’m finishing up the mermaid tonight, and the red devil is done and ready to be packaged :)
The second one is progress on the Yogi on a mountain, waterfall place. I’m liking how the textures are turning out on this one. It’s not perfect, but the piece is a bit of an experiment for me because as you all know, if you’ve been following for a while, I’m trying to work on backgrounds more :) So we shall see what the finished product looks like.
The third is progress on slumflower. I am so much happier with the shad of her hair. I MAY try to darken it, but I think I’m just gonna end up doing that with the details, because I’m gonna have to go in and add details to give her hair some texture.
Last are another two pieces for Christmas presents that are ready to go. I tried to get as close a likeness of “prison mike” as I could and I definitely see some flaws, but I’m pretty okay with how it turned out, and I think the recipient will like it. I will say that I am super proud of the Marceline piece...I think out of the four that I have up here, this one is actually my favorite.
