SLIMER LORE‼️‼️🐌
FINALLY GOT A NAME FOR THESE GUYS YUPIIIII
common english name for all members of this genus is sluggle [sluggles plural]. delivered just from 'slug', the suffix doesnt have a meaning. a silly english name to call these guys :]
scientific generic name of this genus is sllimax [sllimaces plural]. from 'slime' and latin 'limax' [slug/snail] + it sounds like the proto-slavic 'slimak'.
the specific name [second part of the scientific latin name] depends on the species. sllimax terrestrum would be the common land sluggle [ones with a shell, like slimer], sllimax subaqueanus for a slugger who lives in water and has external gills.
