#slowris

A few more Pokemon to the Atles Dex! A lot of these I made just to fill the quota of a few different types like more Ice Types and Poison Types, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t put everything I had into designing them. Anyway, here’s their info:

-Slowris (Poison) "Slowris can only evolve once they successfully hunt and catch something. Until they, they can only survive on the vegetation that grow high on tree branches." "While a Slowris's bite is incredibly poisonous, its meek nature and slow movements make it hard for it to catch anything, or even scare anything for that matter."

-Flexis (Poison/Fighting) (Evolves at Level 30) "Once a Slowris tastes meat, it grows ravenous and powerful, gaining incredible speed and incredible physique. It even grows barbs on its arms that it can use to poison enemies with punches." "The roar of a Flexis often sends other Pokemon running. The only Pokemon that don't run from this menace are Slowris, who hope to learn for this experienced hunter."

Signature Ability: Slow Learner "When the user first switches in, their Speed is massively lowered. After five turns, their Speed is brought back to normal and they increase their Attack sharply." (Signature Ability of Flexis)  

-Amplithorn (Electric/Grass) "Amplithorns have two major parts, the plant itself and the eggs it's storing. The plant protects the eggs by gathering electricity, and the eggs, when hatched, spread the plant's pollen." "The electricity gathered by an Amplithorn is used to incubate the eggs inside its large sac on the top of its stalk. Anyone who tries to disturb the hatching process is met with a nasty sting."

-Scornet (Electric/Bug) (Evolves when exposed to a Thunder Stone) "When a Scornet hatches, it flies far away from the other Scornets it hatched with. This is so when it comes time to lay eggs, they can spread all across its habitat." "The stinger on the back of a Scornet releases a shock into its target equivalent to a lightning strike. Be very wary around a Scornet, especially one that's trying to create a nest."

Signature Move: Stinging Nettles (Grass) (Status) "The User shoots out electrified thorns onto the opponent's field, causing paralysis onto the the enemy and any enemy Pokemon switches in after." (Signature Move of Amplithorn and Scornet)

-Myolan (Ice/Poison) "Myolan's white fur allows it to camouflage in the snow easily. Observant hikers often see little snowball-looking lumps as they trek, knowing they've come across a Myolan." "Myolan's legs are incredibly strong. It can hang upside-down on a tree branch for days on end, and often has to when caught in snow storms or avalanches."

-Bathetti (Ice/Poison) (Evolves at Level 37) "A Bathetti has never been caught on camera. Any attempts to photograph one results in an unfortunate accident that either ruins the image or the photographer themself." "Bathetti's wings are literally useless. They remained the same size post-evolution, so they cannot lift the Pokemon off the ground due to its increased size and weight."

Signature Ability: Elusive "The first move used on this Pokemon has a drastically increased chance to miss, even if it guarenteedly can hit." (Signature Ability of Bathetti)

-Drillig (Ground/Bug) "This tiny Pokemon lives its life making holes and pathways so its larger evolution, Berthel, can easily pass through tunnels. They are practically harmless towards people." "The pinsirs on Drillig's backside allow it to grab things it likes to either keep or bring to its queen; its much more powerful evolution, Berthel."

-Berthel (Ground/Steel) (Female-only Evo) (Evolves at Level 32) "Drilligs latch onto the underbelly of a Berthel as they grow, feeding off the dirt she devours with her large mouth and drill-like tongue. Only the more powerful Drilligs become a Berthel." "While a Berthel's digging power is significantly greater, a Berthel still employs Drilligs to scout safer pathways so she won't accidentally cause a cave-in."

Signature Ability: Earthen Steel "Steel Type Moves also deal Ground-Type Damage, gaining all of their effects in addition." (Signature Ability of Drillig and Berthel)

Signature Move: Drive Forward (Steel) (Physical) "The User rams its large drill forward, dealing massive damage and forcing the enemy Pokemon to switch out." (Signature Move of Berthel)
