Flag of Canada in style of Slovakia. Or the other way.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: Some time ago I made few "Flag of Slovakia in style of" flags (and then deleted the account…). Today I found some other flags in my folder. It would be proper "Flag of Slovakia in style of Canada" if I used lime leaf (symbol of many western slavic nations) instead of maple leaf, but to be honest the former look much cooler. I guess. With lime leaf and slavic tricolour the flag look like [this.](https://i.imgur.com/05PfCVB.png) I posted the same thing few days ago unaware of MondayMashup.
The flag of the Czech Republic technically violates a treaty with Slovakia.
from /r/vexillology Top comment: When Czechoslovakia peacefully divided itself into the Czech Republic and Slovakia (oficially the Slovak Republic), one of the agreements in the treaty they made was that neither of the two countries would use symbolism of Czechoslovakia for any of their state symbols (which, of course, included the flag). But the Czech Republic adopted the flag of Czechoslovakia nonetheless.
