              darkness was encroaching upon new york --- the little village of greenwich growing darker with the uses of magics, the muggles beginning to grow suspicious of the mysterious crimes around the city. while he could be out doing something about this, the sorcerer and former author was holed up in the sanctum sanctorum, keeping to himself and allowing time for his hands to heal. no amounts of magics that he poured into them would help, his powers merely.. dulling the pain, when it grew too much to bare. 

the knock upon his door as a result, caused the magic user to be on edge. his blue eye shone with disused magics --- the sorcerer quietly moving to open the door, just a bit, to give himself a look on who was on the doorstep. the man was.. unfamiliar to him, though he could sense strong magics radiating off of him.   “   did you make an appointment? i’m assuming the answer is no, so please be on your way.   ”

He watched amused, standing in the doorway with a half smile on his face. He had waited for this day for a great deal of time. The hours had stretched on, and he had wondered when his new fascination would find his way here, to the Mikaelson Manor, pilfering through ancient artifacts and dark objects. He was looking for clues, his whereabouts, his weaknesses, the Hybrid wasn’t entirely sure.

He watched the auror pocket several diagrams, some he had drawn and others he had collected over the centuries. It made his brow raise, curious as to what it was he was truly looking for. Still, he remained silent up until deft fingers curl around his Mother’s spell book.
