Fire Emblem: Three Houses • Ashe Ubert/Dedue Molinaro

In the last month, there had been little done to take care of the greenhouse. The five years of neglect are apparent. Though some plants seem to have done fine on their own, there are plenty that are dead. Weeds and dead flora now fill the gardening space. Ashe recalls how there were supposedly rare, valuable plants kept here. He wonders if any of them are sprouting among the survivors. It’s a certainly sad sight, especially since Ashe remembered how beautiful this place looked in its prime.

Ashe is put in charge of restoring the greenhouse, and works through his grief along the way.

“You idiot!” Satan scoffed as he snatched the book back, running a finger gently over the damage. “This one is probably worth more than what you owe me, and yes I would very much mind. Don’t get any ideas.”

Mammon’s eyes went wide. “Geez, a few hundred Grimm for this?”

“If you think that your debt is only a few hundred Grimm then I have some very bad news for you.”

“It’s just a bunch of dumb pictures and stories. I can’t see this being that expensive.”

“That collection of dumb stories happens to be a collection of the oldest legends of the Devildom,” Satan explained as he plucked the book from Mammon’s hands. “It has some of the oldest recordings of the Taming of Styx’s Beasts, The King’s building of the kingdom, the Golden Goose of Greed—“

“Woah, woah, woah, what was that?” Mammon cut off.

Satan and Mammon go on an impromptu adventure, and destroy the lawn in the process.

It may not have been extraordinary, but it was still an eye catching and pretty rock.

“It’s lovely,” Tanjiro said. Inosuke pressed his hand against Tanjiro’s with a grunt, his eyebrows beginning to furrow in frustration. “Wait, it’s for me?”

He was expecting an outburst of an answer. Something along the lines of ‘of course Gonpachiro’ and how great he was for gifting his subordinates with such treasures.

Inosuke didn’t say anything though. He just nodded and kept his hand held out.

Tanjiro's poor pining heart can't take Inosuke's sudden careful and affectionate actions.

“And I can’t believe I have to say this when you’re how old now, but Narancia don’t poke random dismembered body parts you come across,” Abbacchio scolded.

“What else was I supposed to do?” Narancia asked.

“Not poke it.”

 She could feel Douma’s presence behind her as she watched Inosuke drop. She knew her end was coming. The scent of blood was so, so close. But it never came. As she turned around, she saw a flash of blue charge at Douma as a swordsman aim a hit towards his neck. The monster easily deflected the attack, but his attention was drawn from Kotoha. She didn’t know how long this fight would last, or whether the swordsman would win. She didn’t know if she’d ever get the chance to thank whoever it was for the distraction. She did know that this gave her a sliver of hope. So Kotoha ran. 

Kotoha is granted a chance to escape from Douma and survives. She finds herself having to restart her life for a second time, this time with a demon after her and without her son.
