Well, it wasn’t like Ignis wasn’t fond of animals. In fact, he quite enjoyed their presence and knew more than an average person about them.

            A possum… And it screams.

He just stood there as Noctis held it tight with his hands wrapped around its small body. Those big eyes were staring at the taller man as it kept on screaming.

Ignis took a step back, clenching his hands. He’s not taking that. Not once in 50 years.

                 “Noctis, where did you get that… beast?”

I definitely think the time Ferid caught her off guard --> Krul saved Mika was when she had to be strong because she was well aware that she was exposing herself / showing a bit of her “weakness” by saving someone ( despite ‘ saving Mika ’ possibly being part of her ‘ manipulative plan ’ ). I also think the time Krul lost Asura was when she had to be strong, since she knew crying won’t bring him back ! I wish there were more info about her background/history but hey my headcanon
