š when i realize iām dreaming, a narrator starts talkingā¦
i donāt know if anyone else experiences this, but sometimes when i realize iām dreamingāeven just a little bitāthereās this voice that kicks in. not mine. not anyone i know. itās like a narrator, like iāve suddenly entered a story thatās being read aloud in real-time.
it doesnāt scare me. it actually makes things feel more official, like the dream was always waiting for me to notice it, and now that i have, itās ready to unfold like a chapter.
but even when i notice the dream and hear the narration⦠i still canāt move. iām either watching from behind my own dream eyes or floating nearby, like a ghost behind glass. everything happens around me, and iām just there, witnessing it. the people in the dream donāt see me. they donāt know iām there. iām like a camera, or an echo.
and yetāit feels so real. not symbolic-real, not metaphor-real. like⦠another place, another layer of reality that only opens when i sleep.

so now iām starting something.
a journey. a slow project.
to dream more.
to remember more.
to practice not just dreaming, but travelingāwith awareness.
not to interfere or control the dream.
but to witness better.
to move more freely.
to learn how to stand inside the dream without disappearing from it.
maybe iāll get better at listening to that narrator.
maybe one day, iāll meet them.
maybe i already have.

if youāve had anything like thisāor if youāre also trying to remember more of your dreams and move through them with intentionāiād love to hear from you. weāre probably not the only ones.
