Slatewind canonically has to go through 15 loops to complete her task! 15!!! And she doesn't go to Starclan at the end, even if this whole thing was taken by Starclan as a trial to allow her in despite her crimes! She rejects them and makes her own afterlife!! That's right, she made her own afterlife, a purgatory place of sort!
Also she has a sibling, Cliffshade, who could literally cause a loop to end if she loses them somehow. She loves them that much.

And yes, Slatewind can and will directly kill people in her loops. Several of them in fact.
