I have a lot of thoughts of him being just a whiny asshole, you do one thing he doesn’t like he either pouts— jutting that lip out— or just “whyyy WOULD YOU THAT?”

Like a a baby. He loves you though, if he didn’t he would’ve broken your hand.

You have to help him do a lot of things once he finds out you don’t mind kinda treating him like a baby from time to time. Plus, he gets to spend time with you… so that’s why you are now gonna help him build a fish tank. (He likes fish, I made this up in my own head and I can’t get it out.)

He does all his research on what he wants. Addley will make sure this damn fish feels like royalty— however.. that costs a shit Tom of money. Anddd, he knows how to weld and use glass? He’d just need a hand… or two.

“You know how you love me..?” Addley immediately starts one day, walking in and sliding himself on the counter toward you, legs hanging off. “You love me so much you’d do anything—“

“What do you need me to do?”

He smiles like he never thought you’d agree so quickly.

“Wanna make a fish tank..?” He stares at you with wide eyes, trying to guess your answer— and secretly pulling up manipulative tactics in his head.

Once you agree, he is thrilled.

He even lets you help him pick the fish he gets! More like handing you a list of the same species of fish with different colorings..

Addley needs everything to be perfect, and he trusts your keen eye with things like this. He watches you like a hawk nonetheless, kissing the nicks you give yourself on your fingers while cutting.. glass. He loves you, but he wants his hands to decorate the tank, you understand… he hopes.

He cuts you vaguely heart shaped fruit as compensation… some citrus. which burns your cuts but you won’t tell him that, because that’s like kicking a happy puppy.

Once it’s down to actually getting the fish.. Addley makes you go get it from a shop— because his dumbass can’t show his face. You haven’t seen him this happy in ages, so of course you comply! (You got the wrong fish but it’s okay, he forgives you.)

When you get back, Addley lets you name the fish. The black and red colored betta fish you picked up. He smiled like a kid on Christmas after you decided to name it ‘Addie’, after him.

He teaches the damn thing tricks, it’s crazy to you, and he forever thanks you for it.

Extra things::

Addley is a cuddle bug and will sit with you in front of the tank you both built and mumble in your ear, snickering at the random monologues he has. It’s like dating the fucking joker but he’s actually just silly. (Please trust me on this)

He teaches the damn fish who you are, somehow, now it will swim to the front of the tank when you walk near too… like you both my a child. (Addley loves to think of it that way…)

He’s very defensive about Addie, gets pissed at Ike if he makes any comment about how weird he is about “that damn fish”.

Everyone else actually seems to be okay with the fish, Lydia even asking you how it eats… you’re not 100% sure about the fish, but Addley could talk all day about his little water buddy.

Bubba

As soon as you skip your usual “Good Morning” he’s in tears

Once you step out of the bathroom, fresh faced and ready for a day of ignoring your man, he’s in your personal space, whining and crying, a fistful of wildflowers gripped tightly in his hand, roots still shaking dirt onto the floor

You'd have to clean that up so….

Honestly, just take the flowers and forgive him sweetie, he’s just gonna cry and whinge until you do, and no he won't admit he did anything wrong because he doesn't care

Not in a bad way, but your anger is too distracting for him to remember properly 

Thomas

Notices right away

Is worried right away

He’s so used to and in love with your babbling, nodding his head along with you, so when it’s sudden radio silence, when all of a sudden you won't even look at him? Instant heartbreak

Did he do something? Say something? Did someone else? Don’t you love him anymore?

It hasn't even been an entire day and you have this 6’5 hulking giant of a man literally at your feet

Im serious, after a few hours he can't stand it, bails on his chores, finds you and immediately drops to his knees, hugging your legs and burying his face in your tummy

He only peels himself away when he feels your hand start running through his hair (i've decided no one can stay mad at him he’s too soft)

After you coax him off of his knees the two of you have an open conversation and communicate your feelings in a healthy way, solving all the problems and boom sunshine and rainbows baby

Billy & Stu

We all know these two share a brain cell, and once ya’ll are together its split amongst you three

They do NOT catch onto your mood for a whileee

Honestly it’s probably one of your friends, or even your mom, that clues them in

They’re used to you being a bit on the quiet side, heaven knows the pair can entertain each other for hours with dumb boy stuff, and they spend their nights, well, ya’know…

When they do realize your unhappiness and silence these boys go the wallet route

Im talking flowers, chocolate, nice dinner, shoes, that outfit you were eyeing at the mall last week, and more flowers

You do eventually forgive them, but they honestly aren't much wiser afterwards

Vincent

Ngl he doesn't notice at first, not in a bad way, it’s just he gets so invested in his art

There are many nights he stays in his workshop, meddling away at his latest project, often skipping meals unless you bring them to him

I love this man okay, but baby can be a little bit of an airhead at times

Bo and Lester have both noticed by now and let’s just say dinner time is Awkward✨ 

By now Vinny is catching onto your cold shoulder 

Good thing he wears that mask because if you could see the pout on his lil face? All anger would be gone with the wind

Vince doesn’t really know what to do, his brothers sure as hell aren't helpful, so he does the only thing he can think of

Art, art and groveling 

He sketches a portrait of you, far too well done to be a quick one, and it almost encaptures how gorgeous he thinks you are

Once the sketch is in your hands, he’s slipping into bed with you, not bothering to move the covers, just smooshing against you, every inch of him on every inch of you, holding you close

When you look down to where he is parasitically attached to your chest, his eye is shining so sadly, there is no way you could stay mad at him

Brahms

COVID? Pandemic? What on Earth are you talking about silly girl?? 🙃

Let’s be real our lovable wall crawler would hardly understand the pandemic, he never leaves the house after all, even if you try to get it through how awful it all is

He understands it’s something to be scared of, but doesn't really get it ya’know?

Let’s say you get back to the mansion one day after grocery shopping (the local store can’t deliver) and as soon as you walk in the door, you're slamming it behind you with tears in your eyes.

Brahms is immediately concerned, cocking his head and approaching you

Seeing him and all his cuteness just makes you want to cry more 

He wraps you up in his arms, a rare moment of him taking care of you, and carries you over to the couch (groceries be damned) 

After explaining to him what happened, about the cruel things people in town shouted at you, blamed you for, etc. the man was fuming

How could anyone say such things to his love?? His love??? You?? Like you're right there and so perfect, how could anyone just NOT see that?

Brahms can hardly relate to your struggle, he has never been singled out due to his race, but he would try his best to understand and comfort you

This includes lots of pampering and cuddles, ahem, clawfoot bathtub.

Thomas

Sweet Tommy, love of your life, would absolutely tear through anyone that dared utter a single word of offense towards you

Let’s be real, Thomas’ family and you live in the hick side of Texas, people aren't the most open minded there on a normal day y'all sorry

So during the pandemic? A riot in the worst way

You couldn't understand how people could be so mean

At one point you refused to leave the house, it had become so bad, this was past harassment and cruel taunts, the people of this town weren't afraid of grabbing at you.

That is until they see your big hubby 

Little fools sure are running now huh? Big man with the chainsaw is coming for their racist asses

After properly dealing with the bullies in his charming fashion, Tommy would simply dote on you, I’m talking big game here girl

He’s a shy man, we know, but when you're feeling so hurt and down? All that gets pushed aside for lifting your spirits. 

He puts his chainsaw aside and spends the remainder of the day with you, whether its puttering around the house, taking a shower together, or just hanging out. Maybe y’all cooked some yummy dinner together, all cutesy and shit in the kitchen (i’m jealous of u) and then washed each others hair in the shower

Man is greasy pls scrub him 

Then spend the night cuddled up and smoochin’ 

Bubba

When you tell Bubba about what’s been happening the poor thing gets so sad for you

The Sawyers likely don't believe in modern medicine, and likely think the pandemic isn't real 

Bubba doesn't care if its real or not, what’s real to him is you being upset

He believes the townspeople are mean, look at him for goodness sake, he knows what it’s like to be bullied, even if it is for very different reasons

Bubba will hurt them for you if you want him to, but he’s more likely to just sit and cry with you

If you ask him he’ll comfort you, he’ll bring you something pretty he’s found, maybe a smooth bone or a shiny rock

Billy & Stu

At the beginning of the pandemic these two doofs played off its seriousness, but once people close to them started getting sick it sunk in

Your health was at risk, and being the love of their lives and the object of their obsession they absolutely couldn't let ANYTHING happen to you

I’m talking masks, sanitizer, distancing, everything and more

They felt a bit settled into the routine of the pandemic now, no matter how scary the new normal was, but when they noticed/you told them about the harassment?

Sorry to burst ur bubble racist assholes but u got like 2 seconds to live

Absolutely zero remorse from these two, if anyone even looks at you the wrong way ( or any way really) that’s it, they are a goner 

Once your boys get back from stabby time, its you time baby

You think these other boys spoiled you? ( they did I was there ) get ready for 2x the cuddles, 2x the preening, 2x the pampering, 2x the food, 2x EVERYTHING
