who am i: wetter the more it dries || slaine
{ ☪ } —; Halloween, a holiday which represented all things spooky and dark-- something the Princess has only come to know most recently. Banter and talk across the town lingered, thoughts of what to do for this festive season; Hallows' Eve if she recalled. Curious and curiouser listening to those who wandered past, interest perked as she wishes to know more. Her next guess is to ask Slaine, with her head in the clouds; her attention forces her to listen to the mention of costumes. Hesitantly as ever, she wonders what this could mean, never celebrating this season before in her lifetime.
Candy-filled bowls placed upon counters, sweet aromas filling the buildings with each step. Her attention lingers towards the building located on the outskirts of the town, already with her Red-Riding Hood costume on, cape hanging on her shoulders-- she thus follows a small crowd now. Fingers delicately pressed against her cloth, wide grin features as she walks with a skip in her step; strange characteristics has happened ever since the Princess decided to dress up, it wasn't something which fazed her; thankfully.
Finally making her way inside, further in darkened paintings adorned blackened walls, before her gaze was thus met by a tremendous punch bowl in the middle of surrounding areas. Parading herself towards the coloured bowl in question, she doesn't seem to realise a lose plank in her way; idly tripping over said wood, she lands in front of the table-- punch spilling all around her and those closest to the table.
With a small laugh, she's seemingly unaware by the stares from other guests; with a turn on heels, a stagger is met as the Princess continues to laugh her mishap off, "Perhaps I should have been less careless." Well, with soak covered costumes surrounding her, there was any wonder why daggers were being pressed into her back from unwanted stares.
Oh, well.
