How was Rick saved?
D: Paul…Rick was pretty surprised, I gotta admit. When it all went down, guess he went runnin’ down the lake. He’d been there before, knew how rough the waters could be. He said that he could at least find his body.
A: Paul came back to the bridge, dragging Rick, said that Jadis tried to take Rick. He shot the helicopter pilot and the other person in there with them then shot Jadis in the leg.
D: Saved my brother…grateful for that.

So you weren't originally a member of the Hilltop?
J: Well, I think I was, in a way. The Kingdom was never really my home; once the barriers were up, I didn’t stay very often. I made sure my friend was safe with his new people, then I went off exploring. I met a few people holed up in Barrington, the Kingdom loaned them some resources, and their walls went up. After that, I stayed in the Hilltop…as long as I promised to visit Ezekiel at least once a month.
He wanted me to stay inside the walls and be safe, but that’s just not who I am. Oh my, that fight was such a blowout between us, with how dramatic we can both get. I told him he’d have to find another queen…and so he did…eventually.
