This wasnât, what you would call usual for Skylar. Though a friend convinced her to do it, she normally would have avoided this place. No shame towards the girls, but letâs be honest here, a shy, little, gay girl is not safe in a stripper house. Sheâll either be shamed or eaten up. Her friend was supposed to come in with her, but he took too long, and she had no interest in standing outside. Itâs a surprise she even got in without any hassle, but thatâs only because the bodyguard didnât see her. She is of age, though that matters none if you don't look it.
Skylar's delicate fingers encased her phone and she shuffled to a lone booth. A vibrate from her phone rattled her, but gave her hope of his presence to come soon. She was disappointed. âRaincheck?â Her thoughts ranged from âBUT IâM ALREADY HEREâ to multiple, uniquely combined swear words. She set her bag on the front of the table, and sunk into the boothâs seat.
Skylar stared at the ceiling that reflected the lights of the building for a few moments. Her placement was a little bit left of the stage, but it was clearly seen. She took her gaze away from the ceiling when it changed colors to match the stage. The blonde woman on stage caught her attention, she was mesmerizing to Skylar. She was absolutely gorgeous, but that wasnât what got to Skylar. This woman, in a place where joy is normally not found on the stage, looked happy?
Skylar leaned forward slightly, which knocked her entire bag over. The pens, along with all else, hitting the floor made a somewhat loud clatter. Skylar jumped to pick up the bag, not looking up the whole time. Praying no one saw her....Â
