★ : in the night, she could see the sky-strewn isles from the mainland. while marisa had always dithered about going to explore that miraculous floating land, something had always held her back. laziness? lack of motivation? she certainly was growing a bit weary of all the constant mayhem going on around here, and it wasn’t for lack of getting involved in it herself from time to time.
instead of following a whim, she sits outside on one of the benches and gazes upward towards the sky. it’s not really stargazing, nor is she particularly focused on any one thing, but the moonlight drenches everything and everyone - a crystal clear night. it’s perfectly suited for... doing nothing but lie on a bench. she’s really lacking the motivation these days, after all.

‘oh, you get restless at night too?’ in spite of the terrific visibility, the area itself is deserted. funny, given that you can hear the clamor of the nearby opalarian market during the day from much further away; right now you could hear the proverbial drop of a pin, she supposes, if she listened real hard.
‘i get it. this place does that to ya.’
