Since Cain hadn’t come out yet from training and Abel was a little too hungry to wait, he decided to head down to the mess hall first so he could get his dinner and realized he didn’t have anywhere he could sit, since there were usually hoards of people he didn’t know or that didn’t like him.

But, there was always Keeler, and he really admired Keeler a lot, so wouldn’t it be okay? He was on the Navigator side, after all.

Once he found him, he leaned down a bit to try and get his attention since there was a bit of space left at the table.

                  There was no need to think this through. Cain had already reached for the bottle of wine when it was presented to him. It wasn’t his first choice nor his preference and undoubtly it wouldn’t be enough to get him wasted ( being used to drinking heavily through his teenage years and adulthood ), but it would do for now. It was just to have an excuse, wasn’t it?

His broad vocabulary should have allowed him to speed through this crossword puzzle effortlessly, but seeing a long ten letter space made him frown, nose wrinkling from the mass of empty squares. Code name, Hesperus: the navigator slid his feet from the desk and groaned audibly. “Keeler,” a nudge was given to the other man beside him, pen pointing to the clue on the opposite page. “I need a ten-letter word for… ‘Neat squire confused where horses are concerned,’” Hesperus read aloud, rather unamused by the poor explanation offered. His thoughts had wandered to Renaissance era, desperately seeking when one would even bother to use the word ‘squire’ in that matter. It was stupidly dated if he had to say. “I thought it would be a stable, but it doesn’t fit…”

Keeler: opens his jacket, a row of condoms and lube aligned in a row of pockets. “we have strawberry flavour, grape, orange, chery…etc. Stay safe and happy sex!” :D

Isolde blinked his eyes and pulled his hands back to himself and took some seconds to think of an answer for Keeler's statement. Most every person who came around him commented on his ways and Isolde himself felt like he was an odd man for being like that, still, the instinct to care for others came to him in a natural way and even when pushed backwards for other more important tasks, it always emerged again after a while.
