Sky Monster 2023 Oh damn. ITN is definitely now the new Asylum. The new kings of crap. I remember the Troll 2 documentary having someone refer to the film as a made by people that knew how to make a movie but all got brain damage and went crazy. ITN movies are so flat and soulless but full of wild ideas. The first half of the film is typical ITN filled with so many "almost". Almost good looking and talented actors, almost a good plot and or idea, almost professional camera work, lighting and editing. But each of these elements all have something wrong regardless. Basically Sky Monster is the same plot of the 2010 movie Altitude that get attacked by Cthulhu in the sky. Sky monster starts with a near unbearable 30 minutes of a bunch of attractive young women getting on a private plane to go to a party 6 hours away. This 30 minutes feels like 6hrs (if you've seen any ITN films you've met these women before and they are basically the same every movie). It's all played straight and serious so I just can't tell if that's the joke or it's all hilarious by mistake as the next half of the film goes berserk. The film already looks weird as it's filmed well but purposefully overexposed for dramatic bright sunlight in this small plane. But once the monster attacks every dumb idea, broken logic and forced action beat is used and none of it works right but they just keep doing it anyways. ITN has been kicking out so many movies lately and after the success of Blood and Honey they are only going even harder. So it can't be that they don't know this stuff is nonsense and drivel..or is it? Is it? Not all ITN films have the same director but they do use all the same people just in different positions so it's not just a coincidence their movies are like this. They must know by now that it's the hate that gets them hits. Part of me wants to imagine it's all by mistake. However unlike some old ITN the second half of this fast paced, stupid as hell but entertaining. So if ITN movies are gonna be this bad I hope they don't like this where at least it's ridiculous enough to enjoy it.

Another Dream I had. I forget where I found this pic, but all credit goes to the artist, whoever did it. I’ll totally edit this if I ever find out the artist again, for proper credit. Terrible storms rolled in. Everyone knew that you couldn’t be outside during the storms because of these things everyone was calling ‘Makers’. These things, never actually fully seen, hid in the thunderheads and let down their tendrils or tentacles. They were called Makers because they’d reach down and snag random things -- cars, debris, loose items....people... -- and take them up into the sky where they’d combine them with other items they’d picked up with other tendrils...and they’d ‘Make’ something new, before dropping it and ‘Making’ something new. As you’d expect, something ‘made’ of a living creature didn’t tend to survive the Making process, nor the subsequent fall from the sky. Usually it was just one Maker per storm, or at least people thought that. But when you saw three, four, five different sets of tendrils, coming out of the clouds at completely opposite angles, you knew you were encountering a storm that had room for more than one. The tendrils or tentacles...you couldn’t quite make any detail out on them. At a distance they did resemble whisps of cloud. Until they darted forward at unbelievably fast. Faster than any thing had a right to. Faster than you could run away. Closer, you could tell they were still the color of the clouds they hid in, but the tendrils were segmented, with angular scales on their upper sides. And if you looked carefully you could see a line of what seemed to be orbs running the length of the tendril, that occasionally would flare blue, with the glow travelling from tip to cloud. Not often, but sometimes, if they were angled right when you looked at them. In the dream I had, the storm that rolled in was a real monster. Black clouds, with that sickly yellow sky beneath, roiling storm front... real F5-tornado weather. And three Makers were in it, idling, biding their time. It was only when we looked up and saw them already snagging things with their miles-long tendrils that we all ran inside. It was common knowledge, in this dream, that the Makers only ever took what wasn’t nailed down outside. They never violated buildings that had their windows and doors shut. But...if you left a door open, you might find a questing tentacle had found something it wanted in your home. Perhaps you. So it was survival tactics to make sure the place was sealed, and the inside doors were closed too. I don’t know if they were hostile, playful, curious, or what. They seemed unknowable, and disinclined to care about people. They were so very alien. But they were so alien you couldn’t even call them evil; the concept just didn’t exist for them as we understood it. They were just...another part of the nature of the world.

A group of scientists have ventured out from Earth with the purpose of "researching" and collecting data on animal lifeforms from other planets. Their real agenda is to capture strong and ferocious animals, and bring them back to Earth to fight gladiators in an infamous arena. Battles in this arena are only known by the upper class of society and in order to see these fights you have to pay a large amount of money. If a Gladiator defeats the alien creature they are forced to face, it is believed that they win their freedom.

The sky demon that drowned our ancestors is still out to get us.

This world is bigger than you think.
