While technically the lack of sleep didn’t come with the job it didn’t stop Gavin from going long periods of time without much rest. One couldn’t exactly blame him when the request for an information dump came from Burnie himself. So he locked himself in his room the second he hung up & went straight to work.
Time had passed to the point where he stopped taking care of himself. Something like this would’ve been easier yet for whatever reason Gavin was struggling to get any shred of evidence. There were very quick & rare breaks where he’d leave his room to get food before returning. It was like a loud, cursing blur swept through the kitchen.
Coffees, energy drinks, & wrappers for snacks littered his desk to the point where moving his arm an inch had things tumbling. Thankfully everything was empty. He ran his hands down his face, eyes burning slightly from the light of the computer screen. They felt heavy as his head bobbed, exhaustion rushing up on him, unaware of the door opening to his room.Sarah entered quietly & reached out to him. “Babe-“
The second her hand touched his shoulder he jumped. The gun on his desk was grabbed & he spun around to point the gun straight at her face. His heart was pounding in his ears as he cursed loudly. He gulped, lowering the gun slowly & rubbing his eyes once again when he realized it was Sarah. It felt like he couldn’t catch his breath as he collapsed into his chair.
“Christ Sar,” Gavin mumbled into his hand, bent over so he head was practically between his legs. He felt like he was going to throw up. “I don’t… I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to, love.”

You’d never be able to tell what with the grin he flashed as long legs situate themselves on the nearest chair near her; looking as if he wasn’t in the least worried about the fact he just, quite literally, blew in through the window with a bag of take out in hand. As if this was just the norm for him. ❝ I got dinner, ❞ brow raises and chin points to the brown bag, his hands moving faster than his proper etiquette; he’s already unwrapped his own burger and fries. ❝ & I thought I’d drop by and say what’s up, how’s life, what’s new — y’know, catch up over some burgers. ❞ He stops mid-bite, blinks, and decides not to repeat his unintentional pun.

A slew of curses come from the young British man as he stomps over twigs & rocks scattered about the forest. The sun was setting on what would’ve been a successful heist pulled off by the crew if it wasn’t for the fact that the Vagabond thought it would’ve been funny to drop him off in the middle of the woods! He couldn’t even get reception to call Geoff.
“This is top, isn’t it? Bloody fantastic. I’m trapped out ‘ere, thanks Rya-“ His angered rambling was cut short when his foot caught on a root. He trips, falling down a hill. Once he reached the bottom, he was met with a large figure & a scream (more like a squawk) comes from him. Gavin scrambles about to find his gun in a panic.
