Elrena wasn't one for wishing upon stars of any kind.

As far as she could remember, her wishes had never come true. It didn't mean anything to wish for things, especially if you didn't work for it.

But… sometimes, now, that was different.

She found herself wishing for Lauriam's safety a lot, in his quest alongside the Guardians to bring justice to Strelitzia's name.

She found herself wishing for Ven's happiness, even, and she wasn't one for wanting good things to happen to other people.

But the big one… she wished for Skuld's heart.

Elrena hadn't known Skuld at all during their times as Dandelions, but after getting their memories back and helping Axel and the others find Skuld, they started to spend time together.

It was hard to have memories of a time long gone, and now all the people you knew were gone forever.

Lauriam got it too, but he was so focused on finding Darkness that he wasn't giving himself time to grieve.

So Elrena had those conversations with Skuld instead.

"I miss Ephemer," Skuld admitted, the two of them drinking at Scrooge's bistro.

"Did you love him?" Elrena finally found the courage to ask.

"He was important to me," Skuld said. "But that was a long time ago. I have others who are important to me now."

"Like Axel, Saix and the kids," Elrena said.

"Yes," Skuld said. "And you."

Elrena hid how her hands shook slightly, and looked at her glass, not wanting Skuld to see her face.

"You are nicer than Isa gave me the impression you were from how he talks about you," Skuld teased, pretending she hadn't noticed how Elrena reacted.

"Not… to everyone," Axel in particular always got on her nerves. They argued a lot. "You're different."

Skuld reached over and grabbed Elrena's free hand. "I'm glad."
