SUBWRK001 hits stores today and signifies the launch of our sister label Subwork with it’s first release courtesy of Skimatix. The UK’s Skimatix pushes the boundaries of the 160bpm juke & footwork sounds, and Subwork is proud to launch with two of his latest productions. These smooth atmospheric tracks defy categorisation, as familiar juke stylisations and 808 percussion roll together with warm synths and live samples. The resultant progressive soundscapes showcase Skimatix diverse production skills and give a firm nod to house and jazz respectively.
