He looked down. He knew. He lived in a land where witch trials were not a thing of the past. War with Valtor was inevitable, and the allies were more divided than they had been in a long time. Solaria was suffering from Cassandra's attempted coup, Andros had long since been invaded and was fighting against Valtor's power, Melody and Zenith were undecided, and Eraklyon… was preparing for a witch trial instead of mustering its troops and calling an emergency meeting of its allies. Magix alone and the students of the three magic schools, faced the fight against Valtor, one of which was also invaded. But everyone was only looking out for themselves, and Valtor had an easy time of it. He could casually eliminate one faction after another. They were making it really easy for him.
"We're both on the brink of war, on opposing sides," Icy stated the facts. "Either my side wins, or yours. There's no in-between. Just as no one can change our positions. I'm here, you're over there. Sky, without Valtor, I have no future. You know that."
