YOUR CHARACTER is recently (within the last week-two weeks in IronForged time) wed to Kyra Tarth for the simple reason that that the Stormlands needed to have a capable, young queen.

YOUR CHARACTER and Kyra have a thus far neutral-pleasant relationship due to shared love and passion for the kingdom of the Stormlands. They have not yet to consummate the marriage.

YOUR CHARACTER is the eldest or only child (UTP) of his recently deceased or dying/ailing father who has stepped down recently and given YOUR CHARACTER the new crown.

YOUR CHARACTER and Kyra are vaguely familiar from youth (such as weddings, funerals, various events that House Tarth was invited to with House Baratheon as their liege-lords) but likely hasn’t seen much or any of Kyra in seven years, which is since she became captain of the trade routes of Tarth. they are a well known and well renowned as a bookkeeper/bookie in kings landing, but also works covertly in the illegal betting rings for places like the fighting pits and for the various commonfolk who might like games of chance

most likely someone of high birth, not necessarily a nobleborn, but wealthy or middle class person who is ambitious and book smart enough to run two simultaneous businesses

their face and name isn’t known in the illegal circles, rather they are known by the alias ‘the crimson coin’ as they arrange for those who don’t pay their debts to be found in a bloody (not necessarily dead) fashion with a gold dragon under their tongue as punishment and warning

in legal rings, they have a public and legal business that runs in kings landing, and caters to all the different games of chance for everyone who has the coin to spend

they would have begun running (or creating) the business seven or eight years ago, and would likely have at least 100 people under their employ, but few very close and trusted assistants or apprentices that they likely trained themselves.
