PRETTY SWEET (2012) Â full video
I can't tell you how many times I've watched this video since it first came out, but since this is the first time I've seen it streaming online, I'm posting it here for you guys!  Such a solid video with fucking mind-blowing parts...  They have a seriously great balance between ripping and going hard over some fucking crazy gaps and some really technical shit that's just incredible to watch.  There's really something for everyone, and it seems like the video was made keeping the generational gap between the viewers and skaters in mind (even mentioning it, at times), which was interesting and honestly pretty exciting to see.  All of the iconic pros had their time and really stood out, but the newer, younger guys all had great parts.  Everyone held their own, and that was a gratifying thing to watch.  That said, Cory Kennedy (11:45) Marc Johnson (52:53) both had my favorite parts in the video.  Seriously, whenever I need some pumping up, I watch one of their parts and go skate.  I have them both saved on my phone for that specific reason.  If I could have anyone style--anyone in the whole entire world--I would want to jack Marc's.  The man is incredible. Â
Also, can we even talk about the fucking filming?!  Ty Evans is a god, and Spike Jonze is great.  I'm so happy to see him doing shit again.  Oh--and I also loved the fact that the older skaters brought in fucking Will Arnett to poke a little fun at them on camera.  Those scenes were so great...  Ugh, haha, I just got all re-hyped on this video.  Even all of the music choices and the ending with the homage to Daft Punk "Teachers" was fucking RAD.  I fangirled so fucking hard.  Elissa Steamer dancing killed me--and I love the Gnarhunters repping.  I had to go back and rewatch the entirety of the end credits a few times just to make sure I caught everyone. Â
Anyway, I'm making a minimal amount of sense and really need to sleep, but if you haven't watched this video yet, do it.  I'm making it easy for you.
