For Alec: Does he miss anything in particular about the circle? What would he say is his worst and best habits?
“Mmm... The library is the first thing that comes to mind. Endless books, about everything... Magic, history, botany, economy, what have you. Except for erotica. But then again, you could always borrow those from someone who managed to smuggle them in. There was camaraderie amongst the apprentices. And I guess that’s what I miss the most. The people. My gang. Yeah, we were sort of a gang. Skyler, Eadric, Laura, Petra and me. Oh, and Jowan. We had fun. It wasn’t just sitting on lectures and resisting demons all the time, you know. We got drunk and we played cards and stared at a wall pretending there was something interesting there just to watch a bunch of dumbasses get curious. We also chased mice and hid them in someone’s footlocker, right where they kept their underclothes. Heh. Yeah...” Alec loops his thumb on the bracelet around his left wrist, looks away for a moment, a bittersweet smile on his lips. He scoffs, then puts on a mischievous grin again. “And of course, how could I forget -- I also miss not seeing the sun for days on end, innit? And Templar breath of my neck. Who wouldn’t miss that? Good times!
“As for my best and worst habits. Worst is... I’m a perfectionist. It’s a curse, really.” He snickers. “And best... I’m too modest for my own good. But you already knew that, I bet.”
Thank you so much for the ask!
