#ChinsUpFangsOut "I love animals dearly, regardless of how "wild" they are. I had the wonderful experience of taking pictures with malamute/wolf dogs, and it was the best. It breaks my heart knowing that the current administration has repealed Alaskan bear hunting regulations, which also includes wolves. Hibernating bears are NOT a threat to you and they don't deserve to be slaughtered in cold blood. Hunters who are killing bears in front of their cubs are tearing families apart, and then don't understand why bears can be aggressive. Maybe it's not even aggression; maybe it's fear and defending themselves. A wolf is cautious, wary, and uncertain about humans, and rightfully so. People assume that we own this land— we don't, we share it with the wildlife. I would be wary of humans if I were a wolf because these animals are destroying my home time and time again. Wolves are shot and killed for no reason at all and destroying packs. Wolves are pack oriented and fiercely loyal. People need to truly study and understand the true nature of the wildlife before making assumptions and learn to share their home and respect their needs. I implore the Alaskan state government to continue to make laws in protecting the wildlife because the wildlife is essential for the betterment of this Earth." - Kaitlin #ThisIsWhatDemocracyLooksLike #photoseries #bears #wolf🐺 #animal #AnimalRights #oregon #alaska #SJRes18 #animalsofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #timberwolves #wildlife #wildlifephotography #stoptrophyhunting #gocrueltyfree #malamutes (at Portland, Oregon)
