Well because Sjin has been accused of some shady things, which I’m sure you can find out more about somewhere more reputable. I’m just making sure that anyone that has been affected by it that follows me is safe. Idk, it’s just a precaution in case they relate sjin’s character back to him and get triggered or whatever.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but I am genuinely curious as to why anything pertaining to sjin is tagged as "sjin tw"? Is it just because you don't like him or are there other reasons?

I am honestly considering leaving the yogs fandom. Between the issue with reading fanfiction on the stream (WHICH HAPPENED LAST YEAR AS WELL AND WENT DOWN JUST AS BADLY LET ME REMIND YOU) and the whole sjin thing and just how badly the yogs seem to be treating their fans atm at just dont feel happy (let alone safe) in the fandom anymore. There is some pretty toxic bullying and victim blaming from members of the fandom towards people affected by things the yogs have done and idk I guess the yogs just arent everything I originally thought they were I really am not happy on tumblr atm about 65% of my dash is yogs and its almost as though im getting triggered just by having them there Idk I think im gonna leave the fandom at some point soon because I just dont trust the yogs anymore
You don't have to answer, I just needed to get this off my chest. A long-time Yogscast fan, I only really explored the problematicyogscast blog today. Now, I'm no white knight and the Yogs aren't perfect but I've always looked up to them as people and accepted their crass humour as just that: humour. But now, I'll agree that they can be problematic just like any one else in society. I still like them but I don't really know what else to feel or how to adjust my own views. 'Heroes' vs reality...
Honestly, friend, I think it’s fine to enjoy someone’s content if they’re problematic. As you said, no-one is clean of being problematic. Just so long as you understand why what they’re doing/saying is problematic and don’t behave that way yourself, you should be a-ok.
It's your choice whether you want to continue watching/supporting a problematic person, just be aware that some things they do are not things you should emulate.
As a personal example, I don’t watch/support Sjin ‘cause of stuff he’s done in the past but, as I said above, it’s fine if other people do. I’m not about to police what people do in their spare time.
