Rose sat cross legged on her bed, staring down at her phone. It was her night off, and she thought maybe she'd call Rae or Missy or someone and ask them if the wanted to do anything. But then she realized that they were working. Something else caught her eyes interrupting her thoughts of what movie she would watch tonight. She saw a number she had put in her phone almost a week ago. The number of a guy she'd met in the common room who offered to teach her to play guitar. That would be much funner than sitting in her living room, alone, watching some random movie on Netflix. Her finger hovered over the screen of her iPhone, not sure whether or not she should press the number and call him. Would she be annoying him? Should she even try to make friends? It never ended we'll for her. But she really wanted to learn to play. And he seemed pretty nice, from the short time she spoke to him. Rose bit her lip, trying to work up the courage to call. Just suck it up! she thought, If this ends badly you'll never have to do it again. She pressed the number, holding the phone up to her ear before she panicked and decided to drop it or something. Rose took a deep breath and waited for him to answer. One ring... Two...
