#siw raph

Me and my family were playing "American Trivia" today, so I decided to sketch this silly panel of my SIW characters doing the same with quite similar results. XD

Happy 4th of July to all who celebrate! :)

I knowww, I just didn't make the deadline of Father's Day for posting what I have so far for this art challenge of the most famous rat dad in history-- But hey, better late than never! :) For this challenge, I rolled both a D20 and D6 dice, and then did that specific challenge prompt with that specific character with Splinter. (1- Leo, 2- Raph, 3- Don, 4- Mikey, 5- Lotus). This was the perfect kind of practice that I needed to really get more experience in drawing SIW Splinter. I don't draw him enough, so this helped change that. :)

And that's a wrap. :) I told you guys it would end happy, you just had to wait for a bit. XD

I am very excited to continue with this comic series-- there's a whole script written out for many more chapters like this to come. The next will be centered around a certain pb and j duo. ;) But for now, I am going to take a little break from comic making just to focus on some other projects/life things happening. (Like working on the official SIW theme song AAA). So I'll see you guys later. :)

Do any of y'all have that one sibling late at night that has no clue how to be quiet?... Like-- laughing out loud, slamming cabinets, etc? Well~ Leo certainly does! (Also PS- I am someone who if my hands are not available at the moment will close/point to objects with my feet. Had to do that with Raph in this one. XD)

(For those not in the know, this comic is a continuation of my written story "The Strength in Weakness". It specifically takes place right after Chapter 20 of Book Two.)

It's been a little while since I've posted anything on here that was-- well-- happy... So! Here are the many many sketches I've made these last few weeks. :)

Part 14

One of the most powerful phrases I have ever used when experiencing anxiety/panic attacks is "That was THEN. This is NOW." It helps your mind find safety in the present by reminding it that you're NO LONGER in your past; a definitive fact used to bring your mind out of its spiral.

Compared to Leo, whom is the leader and medic of his team, Raphael is the strategist. He is the one who is able to quiet his mind and use his powerful will to focus on what's happening in the present. So he's far more equipped and used to snapping his mind back into the present than his oldest, anxiety-ridden brother.

Let the healing begin. ~
