Jobs prophetically supported this notion of saying no at an Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in 1997. 'People think focus means saying yes to the thing you've got to focus on. But that's not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I'm actually as proud of the things we haven't done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to 1,000 things.' ~Steve Jobs New moon is a beautiful time to burn, clear and reset. I have taken the last 10 days on a staycation, this is the longest time I have been at home and not been pouring out a massive amount of work. Being an entrepreneur and so passionate about health, wellness nutrition in yoga, there is never really a 'day off'. This reprieve was so much needed. I didn't even write or work on the final edits of my book. I have learned in these last 11 days, that we need time to set, be still, and even if we're doing something that we think it's for the better, sometimes it's best to do nothing. I have been able to sit with the fact that my little best friend has crossed over, and I'm OK with that. I have been able to sit with the fact that I need to create more time in my life to play. Play with my dogs, ride my horses and train them, and especially play with my daughter who is not so little anymore. I have been able to sit with the fact that being out in nature is how I refuel. I have been able to sit with the fact that getting off on social media and only getting on it in appropriate times is good for the soul. I have had a realization that by unplugging and disconnecting to all the periphery things in my life and really listening to Spirit to what needs to have laser focus Will create a very fast and fluid manifestation of the life that I dream. Lastly, I have been able to sit with myself. With that being said I have examined all the things that I continue to add on to my plate, and realize that so many of these things are fun and beautiful and awesome, however, first I'm saying no. #stevejobsquote #laserfocus #theyesfrequency #saynobeforeyousayyes #sitwithself #unplug #disconnect #play . . . . #oneness #namaste #seethemagic (at Lisa Ware Yoga 4 Love)
