Watercolor Wedding Portrait
My brother got married yesterday 💍 29.08.2025. I wanted to give them something personal, so instead of going to the store I painted a watercolor portrait.
At first it felt stressful, because it’s not just a drawing, it’s their faces (I'm not portrait artist in general), their moment, their wedding. But the more I painted, the calmer I felt. There was something very peaceful about the process, like I was sitting with them in that happiness. I actually enjoyed every brushstroke, even when my hands were shaking a little.
Now this painting is not only their memory, but also mine. A reminder that creating art is not only about the result, but also about how it feels while you’re doing it.
