I'm not kidding you, that's exactly that, domestic feral cats, when they live in groups, they live in a familiar matriarchal society, meaning that the cats there are all females who have family ties with each other.
In this type of environment there are no males cause male cats have a great tendencies to do infanticide, so nursing mothers will get in the heat again and can have their children, so these groups don't let males settle too long, just enough to get a cat pregnant and leave.
So, yeah, they're not great, but that's an actual showcase of irl cat groups! Idk i just really like it
