@sirenlessong gets a starter – the drama of it all :o
For any siren, her current situation is a nightmare. For her – her family – it might as well be a death sentence. Or at least one of exile, banishment. Somehow, the famous Elora Meadows has lost her song – not lost, she comes to the conclusion (however falsely) – but stolen. She can't captivate an audience like she used to, and her fame can only take her so far. People want to hear her sing. People demand her song.
And for the first time – she can't deliver.
It's misery, utter misery. She fumes on the train over, fists clenched until knuckles turn white. Despite the pleas of her security team, she goes alone – sweatshirt pulled over her head, sunglasses on her face. People snap photos of her. They find her, they always do. But she's on a mission now, to get her song back... somehow. She has only one person in mind, the culprit, in her head.
Amory.
So she takes the train, rainy atmosphere, thundering, cracking, flashing with light – it fits her mood. Bubbling, burning with anger. Thundering within her. She's located her sister in a coven in another state. For shame, she runs away with her tail between her legs, doesn't honor her family. Elora won't be like her. No, she'll get her song back – rip it from her sister's throat if she has to – and come back to her family, proud. Victorious.
Soon, she arrives at her destination. A large house, worn with age but well-kept in spite of that. She is first met by the High Priestess. Scary – she didn't think she would be here. Eden Emerson's eyes bore into her own; she knows she is unwanted here, but Elora fights fire with fire.
❛ She's my sister. I'm allowed to talk to her. ❜ ' If that's what she wants. ' ❛ Get out of my way. ❜ Entitled brat. She pushes past the witch, who swiftly holds her in place without even touching her. She's powerful. Elora is unmoving as Eden disappears into the house. It feels like ages before she re-emerges – Elora, frozen the entire time.
' She'll see you. But if she changes her mind, I'll know. ' Ominous. A warning. High Priestess always knows. Eden releases her from the hold, and Elora practically growls. She marches into the house and finds Amory there, just beyond the threshold, waiting for her.
❛ You bitch! ❜ She immediately shouts, storming right up to her sister. There's fire in her eyes. Thundering, lightning. ❛ What did you do with my song? You were always fucking jealous of me! Give it back, or I'll take it back myself! ❜
