Hazbin Mermaid AU: The Aftermath Of Abel
Abel: Abel is nervous around Sera because Emily said "Sera's gonna kill me" in the last part so he correctly guessed that the woman he just bumped into was Sera due to how she was staring at him.
(He also is holding his tail because I want him to do that when he's scared or nervous as comfort)
Sera: Sera realized extremely fast what had happened and she is angry but also in shock while staring at Abel, her glaring at him has caused him to get worried that she'll attack him.
(Which she won't but she's definitely angry)
Emily: Emily tried to swim away the moment Abel encountered Sera, she got far but not far enough before Sera yelled her name, which is when she started to panic because she knew she was in trouble.
(She rarely ever gets in trouble so Sera yelling her name like that is her worst nightmare)
Adam: Adam soon realized Abel was missing and (thinking about Eve) began to panic and ran around searching for him, getting increasingly worried about his wife getting mad at him for losing their son and all.
(He doesn't even know his son's underwater with mermaids)
Lute: Lute is doing her usual thing of spying on Adam, the human she happens to have a crush on and she hears him searching for Abel, she'll become a pretty important character once she discovers Abel is a mermaid
(She'll definitely be getting her chance to talk to Adam then and he'll be confused when she does)
Lilith: Lilith, in her isolated area during the mermaid area of the ocean, here's Sera yelling Emily's name, she's curious about what's going on and will end up going up there to find out what's happening
(The Lilith being a prisoner in Heaven theory is not Canon in the actual show but here, she is a prisoner due to being the first siren and getting too close to the areas the mermaids live in one day, Lucifer didn't realize she'd be captured and just assumed she'd gotten tired of him)
I've made some design changes, like their halos now being crowns they wear
Adam having that little tail thing
The humans turned mermaids keeping the wing ears (which is how Sera could tell immediately that Abel was not an actual mermaid, Lilith doesn't have them because I didn't want to give her them)
Eve still being around and with Adam
(Instead of Eve getting corrupted, I kinda changed the story to be different from Canon, instead of that bit, Lucifer's imagination was what got him cast out due to the creation of Sirens, Lucifer turned Lilith into a mermaid with something that was already unstable, making Lilith into a Siren, the mermaids didn't like that so banished Lucifer to a separate part of the ocean and that's when he made his own civilisation)
The Exorcists being created by Sera to wipe out or capture sirens that got too close or to handle humans who discovered them (She's not doing it maliciously, she saw what Lilith, a human, became and is paranoid constantly that the humans or sirens are a threat)
I made this as well to try and let people know I didn't forget about this AU and I'm still working on it, it's just hard to balance so many AUs at once and sometimes I unintentionally ignore one of them to focus on all of the others
