As most of you know I am currently on-board the StartupBus headed to SXSW in Austin to launch a brave new venture which I am building with a talented group of people on the bus as I write on this!  I am very excited to give you an exclusive early preview of what we are creating for you!  

Have you ever enjoyed a “premium” drink at an establishment, only to forget the name (or any other details for that matter) as early as the next day?  “Siply” is a new mobile app that aims to help you remember, rate, and then locate your favorite beer, wine, coffee, or tea.

Essentially, the app will allow you to photograph the drink you are enjoying and search for details about it (IBU, origins, type, etc.) and add your own comments about the experience.  This way you will have a running log of all of the great beverages you have enjoyed (which will be stored in the cloud for future retrieval from any device).  The next time you are trying to remember what that great wheat ale, wine bottle, or espresso was, you’ll be able to pull up your Siply list right on your mobile device and it will even provide you with the nearest location that you can purchase it again, or recommendations for others that you might also enjoy!
