[Special Broadcast - Sunday 6th]
[... “Welcome back Sionites! This is your radio station, reporting from Bethel, the heart and soul of the holidays festivities. You just heard Lean On by Diplo, and from what I can see you loved it. I’m live on the beach here for the weekend, playing music for you guys here...” a muffled cheer from the crowd “and sending the love out over those waves of air for the rest of you. We’ve got a bit of a party going down here now, it’s five PM and the dancing has started. Yesterday was wild, and today we’ve got the hardcore party goers with us, dancing on a Sunday. Check you all out! How about we make it a little more freaky to keep with the Sion theme and play...” a sole angry voice is heard in the crowd before music is quickly switched on ]
Broadcast was interrupted and Austin turned on Freaks - The Creeps. On the beach one member of the audience had taken particular offense to being called a freak. The man made his way onto the stage, and had to be held back by guards (SHIELD operatives). He was not backing down though, and his anger has triggered somewhat of a chain reaction.
Before anyone could speak calming words, there were exactly a dozen people fighting with the security. Some were trying to fight them, others were trying to protect their friends from the unreasonable force being used. And it was unreasonable. Punches were thrown by both sides, but the guards were armed with armor and weapons. The first man was tazed, and there was an outcry from everyone present, the scene had created quite a crowd with Sion’s DJ hid and snuck off the stage. It took nearly 30 of the security force to subdue the crowd in the end, using tazers, stun guns, and fists. It was almost a riot. 14 people were arrested and are now being detained in City Of Dis. They declared the beach closed, on account of dangerous behavior of residents. All Sionites had left the beach by 6 PM on Sunday, and the promise of an entire weekend of festivities was broken.
[ For 9 minutes and 27 seconds New Sion’s radio station was nothing but static until someone at the Station began to play some of the pre recorded information broadcasts stored on the system. Austin did not return to the radio until his shift the next day.]
