Edna thought she could have a moment of peace — without anyone coming to bother her, but oh was she wrong. Not even a minute into it she felt someone poking her arm. Repeatedly, without any sign of stopping. She didn’t even need to turn her head to know it was Mikleo, but she did anyway to shoot him a well-deserved glare.

“ What do you want, Meebo? Did Sorey bite your tongue and now you can’t speak? ” Yes, she was going to poke fun at him for his and Sorey’s obvious love for one another.

It had been some time since the Gurak last attacked, but Lazulis and the Gurak Continent were still at war. Arganan was obviously stressed about it, doing his best to mobilize his forces. With Zael swearing fealty to the Count, he now had Zael on his side as an official knight-in-training along with Dagran (with their other mercenary friends to potentially follow in the fuutre).

However, of course, he wouldn’t neglect his adoptive son and his niece’s needs—or their safety. He’d given his blessing for Baelfire to train to be a knight, as long as he kept up with learning the ways of the nobility and other duties befitting of the castle, and seeing him was a nice break from, well...everything else.

sorey’s eyes turn from the ceiling above them towards the water seraph  ,  who probably thought everyone was asleep.  he was reading aloud from a book  ,  one the shepherd hadn’t heard before  ,  so he probably picked it up on their travels.  sorey didn’t mind  ,  mikleo had a nice voice  ,  so he was happy to listen.

but then he says  that  line  ,  &  sorey’s heart  skips  in his chest.

had he recognized the seraphim of elysia  ,  then  ,  from a past life ??  had he recognized gramps as well ??

he  chokes  on his breath  ,  gloved hand resting over his heart for a moment under the blankets.  it’s too late to pretend that he’d been asleep  &  be content to listen to mikleo’s voice  ,  for the seraph had surely already noticed him.  laughing it off  ,  sorey sits up in bed  ,  hand on the back of his neck as he speaks.

Thank the otherworldly beings that we no longer use gifs. FOR EVERYTHING. Reactions, ooc, in place of icons. I remember when the switch from gifs to icons happened. And vowing I would never. Well, now my eyes can't handle fast gifs, so check and mate. And even from there to now, icons were basic (like the ones I use on Gladio) now, people make them fancy, jazz them up with borders and blockquotes and over and under saturate them. It's a time.

1.  is your muse a good kisser ??

in all honesty, sorey probably isn’t terrible at it, at least not if we’re talking about how a first kiss would go.  he’s never kissed anyone before, as far as canon goes, and in theory, he knows how to do it.  the problem comes to the fact that every source on kissing and romance he’s ever encountered has been in the occasional romance novel he’s come across, and since it was never anything that really interested him, he never really read them, so he’s got absolutely no real idea what he’s doing going into it.  that said, he cares more about what his partner likes than whether or not he’s really good at it.

2.   is your muse monogamous?

yes, extremely so.  not that he has anything against polyamory for other people, it’s just not for him.
