A Humidor made together with my client who very enthusiastically came and was part of the making process. There was much discussion between us regarding the design, the functionality, and the reasons why certain materials and hardware were used. Not the easiest piece to make, but as with every piece I undertake, I learnt something new; this time about cigars and humidors in the process.Â
Solid Cherry humidor, internally lined with Spanish Cedar veneer. Book-matched Birch Burl top with walnut inlay. Solid Spanish Cedar trays with walnut and brass accents. Kumiko-inspired humidifier compartment with a lid attached with a hygrometer, thermometer and brass finial. Completed with smart hinges by Andrew Crawford as always.
