The series primarily follows a trio of main characters, all having been reborn, their bodies imbued with demonic spirits, and working as demon hunters for the Morningstar Hunters Agency.

The main main character is Summer Bellicose, a 19 year old girl, reborn imbued with the spirit of Wrath, one of the seven deadly sins. She is a very headstrong and aggressive girl, raised within the harsh contitions of The Wastes, among a powerful biker gang. What she lacks in formal learning, she makes up for with intense conviction, and great strength. When channeling her inborn spirit, she gains the ability to harness fire and heat, her body growing hotter and stronger the more she continues to attack. She sought out the Morningstar in order to get stronger, to try and find a mysterious figure from her past, only known as "Patience"

The deutoragonist is Jade Covet, a 17 year old boy, reborn imbued with the spirit of Envy, another of the seven deadly sins. He is a very intelligent and clever person, raised within the grand city of Dis, and having joined the Morningstar at a young age, training under the legendary August Amour. He is a very skilled fighter, combined with his harnessing of his inbound spirit, granting him the ability to absorb and produce the properties of what he touches. He is very idealistic, trying to make the world a better place, despite the lot that has been granted

The last main character is Abigail Lethargy, a 19 year old girl, reborn imbued with the spirit of Sloth, yet another sin. She is the most socially adept of the group, though her generally laid back and calm attitude leads her to not be quite as active as the other two. While her past is a mystery, she is strongly devoted to the Morningstar Agency, both as a combat and recon agent. Despite her relatively weak physical body, she is able to harness her inbound spirit to manipulate and create magnetic fields. She is overall quite jaded, more connected with the people in her life than to larger ideals.

So far, the prologue of the story is all done (up until chapter 5, or 11 on webtoon because of the chapter size limit), but the first major story arc is in the works, based largely around both Celtic and African mythologies, where the characters have to contend with the grand land of the Fae, and its sudden runin with the powerful trickster spirit known only as Anansi.
