Edward laughed hysterically for about one minute and then turned around towards his sister grabbing her shoulders with his hands. “You think hiding here behind me will actually help him notice you, idiot?”

“Maybe I don’t want to be noticed!” Cynthia frowned and beat her foot on the ground like a five year old. “You pulled me after you leaving me only thirty minutes to make myself look decent! I couldn’t! I look horrible! Please don’t let him see me, Edward!” she cried as her cheeks flushed a red color at the mere thought of him laying eyes on her.

“You’re incurable” he sighed as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and dragged her towards the bar. “Perhaps this can help you. Two, please.” He turned his gaze towards the bartender and motioned to the Blue Kamikaze shots on the menu. Then his attention shifted to the guy his sister had a crush on. Edward scanned him from head to toe and noticed the other three girls surrounding him. Long legs, big breasts, round giggle butts covered by a mere cloth that bore the title of a club dress. “It barely covers their asses..” he whispered under his breath with a disgusted look on his face. “Hm?” Cynthia said as she turned around in the direction her brother was facing. She didn’t hear exactly what he said and had no idea who he was referring to, but it took only a second for her to realize. “Another one.” she said as she placed the empty shot she just gulped on the bar. “And another.” How could he ever notice her? He was always surrounded by women of the finest quality, barely dressed up because they had curves to show, with fine tastes and willing to open their legs to him whenever he pleased. “Make it double.” She growled turning towards the bar, trying to shake off the thought of him. “Scrap that.. Make it triple.”

Cynthia felt as if her face was hit by the brightest light. No.. She felt as if her whole body was hit by a train. Placing her palm infront of her eyes she shaded them from the blinding warm light that caressed her figure. Whining, she opened her eyes to look around but couldn’t really move her head without feeling like it would fall off. Well, she was home at least. “What the..” Wasn’t she in the club like five minutes ago? What happened? How did she get home? Why was it light outside? So many questions she couldn’t answer. But just in time, the door to her room opened and her brother’s figure appeared before her holding a glass of water.

“Look who’s up.. The drunkard.” He said on a rather serious tone, obviously disturbed by his sister’s behavior. “Does half a bottle of Triple Sec hurt?” Edward continued as he handed her the water glass.

“What happen-.. Ouch..” Cynthia whined as she held her head with one arm and took the glass with the other. The puzzled look on her face, her cute whines, the whole innocence made Edward sigh and soften a little.

“You drank a lot last night. I went to the toilet and when I came back you were all over one of Aiden’s girls tugging on her hair in the women’s bathroom. I never had to go in a ladies bath, but I did it now..” he said as he sat on the rim of the bed, next to his sister, placing one plam ontop of her head.

“I DID WHAT?!” she coughed as she spit the water she just choked on. “What do you mean?!” her eyes widened as she looked up at her brother with a very concerned look on her face.

“You were quite a match, sis.” He chuckled a little as he dodged the water that flew out his sister’s mouth. “You kept telling her to stay away from your future man.” Edward continued with a sly grin on his face. “Aiden surely noticed you now.”

“Ughhh’..” cried Cynthia as she pulled the blanket ontop of her head, hiding underneath it as she curled up into a ball and sobbed. “Please let me hide here for the rest of my life. Just continue living on without me. Imma’ be here, under the blankets.. Just bring me food and water whenever and I’ll be fine.”

“No can do, sis. We need to get dressed quickly and get downstairs. The car’s here. We need to start packing to move into our new apartment.”

Edward was right. Today was the day when they’d move out into their new apartment and start life on their own. Their mother would come back home in a couple of weeks and so they didn’t need to feel guilty about leaving him all alone. It took her five minutes, thirty groans, nine attempts and one roll to actually get out of the bed. It felt as if everything was still spinning and she has weights tied to her feet. She didn’t know if she should cry, run, play dead or just lay down right where she stood, on the cold hard ground.

Many, many hours later they were finally done dragging stuff from their rooms down to the car and into their new apartment. Up and down the stairs was awful for Cynthia that felt like throwing up her stomach a few hundred times.
