Goodbye -

Words cannot express the sadness that I feel as I type this. I have been in this community for what feels like a lifetime. Through the years I met so many kind, genuine friends that I have grown to love so much. I grew up in this community.. I went from a hateful, misguided preteen to a full grown adult who realized how terrible I was back then. I went through plenty of drama, a handful of people who hated my guts; but in the long run it helped shape who I am today.

Sims was my escape from life, a place for me to run to when I needed to laugh & smile. I never knew that the 9 year old girl who got Sims 3 for Christmas would turn into a woman who loved writing stories about her sims. When I found out that Tumblr had a Sims community, I was so excited. My simming took off & I started creating so many sims families; created their lives, their stories, their ups & downs, etc. I fell in love with those sims, their faces & their attitudes. I loved the entire concept & with the sims families came RP partners..

I’ve had my fair share of RP partners.. plenty who I have left behind in the midst of growing up, especially in this last year. Every RP partner I’ve ever had was so kind & genuine, I’m even friends with a handful of them IRL now. I’m so thankful for all of you (you know who you are) for putting up with me as I went through life. Through high school all the way to today, I’ve changed a lot mentally. With the change came issues which I often times spilled onto my RP partners (I’m so sorry!). But none of you ever left me, even when I left you.. & for that I am ever so thankful.

Now that I have become a wife & mother, my whole world has shifted. I always thought that I could be a fantastic mother to my son & continue with sims, but boy was I wrong. I haven’t even found the time to take care of myself, let alone log onto the PC & take photos of my sims. My views on life altogether have changed & so have my priorities. So as much as I hate to say this, I am leaving the sims community for good.

This community has been so life changing for me, it’s given me so many friendships, memories & life lessons. Thank you to everyone who has blessed me with their conversations & friendships over the years, I will cherish them forever. My love for sims will never go away & I will always be here. I will keep this account logged in as I use it to search for #s4cc. If anyone wants to reach out to me, they can do so on here or through discord (flauntedpixels#3895).
