Black Lives Matter Facepaints

As a black female I’ve had to experience racism firsthand. In high school, I was that one black female in the advance math class. Being the quiet person I am, they never noticed I was listening to them gossip about other black students. It angered me that they were talking about my friends behind my back. I decided to keep my mouth shut for fear that I would become that angry black person. I never let it effect me that deeply because I always knew we could prove them wrong.

Now I’m want to use my voice to bring awareness of the importance of the black lives matter movement. Though it may be this small facepaint, I encourage everyone to continue to educate yourself, donate, and get involved in any way you can. Your support will not go unnoticed!
