Welcome to my new Strangetown! When I saw @chrisnewbie‘s Strangetown Project, I couldn’t resist it... Love everything about their Sims, lots and maps, so I had to make my own :P
Not sure if I’m actually going to play the hood anytime soon, I’m still trying to decorate it (landscaping tires me after a while) but the idea is to have the original Strangetown Sims and Chris’recreation live together in the hood - I’ve alreayd picked some families to add to the pool - need to come up with some backstories as well - the rest will be townies.
Might also use spookieswamp University Families, especially for Stella Terrano and Francis Worthington - not sure if I will add an uni at all. Anyway, it’s still a long way so for the moment I hope you’ll like this pics!
Hey guys, how’s going?
Yesterday I was able to play a bit of Sims 2 on PSP Emulator, looking for inspiration... As you can see, the gameplay is so much darker than the PC version and the vibe is completely different!
You can’t really compare the two games, but Prah’s recreation is so faithful that with a fog effect and maybe a dark reshade it could work - maybe, I don’t have either of them :’)
The first pictures are from Deadtree, then we have The Meeting Point, with the zombie filled graveyard - that is bloody creepy, compared to it my version looks like a summer camp - then some interactions with Ophelia and, finally, my Sim using a power (I think Focus?) at the Rossum’s.
If you have the chance, try this game. It’s hilarious!
