ship with: Green (that ship has really grown on me…), Red (with the assumption that Blue gets better at controlling his anger issues), and Erune (not a ship I see a lot of, but I like the idea of it, actually!)
friendship them with: All the other Links, and Zelda. Especially like the Blue + Red duo (romantic or not) and how they worked together in the Temple of Darkness!
general opinions: I mentioned that Green/Blue as a ship has grown on me, but honestly Blue in general has grown on me, as a character. I think before I became active in the fandom I just hadn’t given him a lot of thought, beyond just being “the angry, physically-strongest one.” But seeing other people’s takes on him has helped me get a more nuanced, three-dimensional idea of him, and three-dimensional characters do tend to be more interesting!
I like his story arc of finding ways to define himself outside of adamantly insisting on being “the main Link,” I like his stumbling attempts to be emotionally supportive, I like the little character quirks revealed in the bonus 4koma XD
