Some of these assumptions will be easier to stop making than others, but they are all essential!
As an example, when you see someone in the street, instead of assuming that because they are wearing a skirt, they use she/her pronouns, either refer to them in a way which allows you not to use their personal pronouns (eg. 'that skirt is really cool') or use gender neutral language - like 'the skirt that person is wearing is really cool'.
Make sure you remember that what someone looks like does not define their personality! If there is one thing you take from this post, let it be not to judge someone from a glance!
