Greetings Earthling!
Journal Entry #1
My name is Unimportant.
I am a writer, lover, observer, and adventurer passing through this small, little planet of Earth. Though I’m not sure how long I’ll be staying, as my Superior seems to often give little notice (if any at all) regarding time of departure, I am grateful for my time here. I’m learning so much about myself, about Love and creation, along with much more. These lessons aren’t always easy, in fact some of them I’d almost rather not learn at all, but it’s all a part of the process.
My favorite thing thus far on my venture through Earth is creation! The views here are wonderful- blue skies, creatures, mountain ranges, wide open grassy fields, not to mention the sunsets! Truly breathtaking. I do also admire some human creations as well, especially music and some remarkable architectural structures, though they often grow old after a while. Can’t say that I feel the same about nature’s beauty.
Recently things have seemed a bit more complicated here. While I was once here simply to enjoy the views, I now feel as though I need to journal some less than pleasant observations as well. Most, if not all, of these are given credit to the human species. I’ve seen boys shamed for admiring beauty. I’ve also seen those same boys re-programmed into losing empathy, leading to more side effects than one might expect. Woman are scared to walk on the streets late at night. Children are being taken from their families, some families are even opting out of the children they have been gifted. There is a lot of selfishness within humankind, it’s hard to know if you can truly trust anyone. Often times I wish my Superior would send word for my return home, wondering why I’m still in a place I don’t feel I belong.
That being said, there is still Light. Beautiful souls who show kindness to others. Movements trying to preserve the planet, trying to counteract the destruction of their own species. Recycling movements, wildlife preservations, and so much more. Those are the things I wish to play a part in. Even though I’m simply visiting Earth, it would be nice to leave it knowing that I did my best to make it better; rather than the alternative of leaving it with a nasty stain from my existence.
If I've learned anything thus far it is to show Love, and to be kind. It’s amazing what those two things can do.
More to come soon, I hope.
Peace be with you.
