“Eat food, not too much, mostly plants” 🥦 _ Michael Pollen’s 7 words and 7 rules for eating have been a big guiding factor in the way I eat 60-70% of the time. 💛 There’s a lot of unreasonable worry and overwhelming information surrounding diet and sometimes simplifying things makes it a lot easier to be successful 🤗 _ If you haven’t read them, his rules are summarized here below: 1. Don't eat anything your great grandmother wouldn't recognize as food. “Eat FOOD” not food-like substances as he would call them. 2. Don’t eat anything with more than five ingredients, or ingredients you can't pronounce. 3. Shop the outer perimeter of the store, where all the fresh goodies are. 4. Try not eat anything that won't eventually rot. There are exceptions such as honey. 5. It’s also about how you eat. "Always leave the table a little hungry," Pollan says. 6. Enjoy meals with the people you love. 7.
